I recently acquired an oil painting from an estate and it is signed ‘J Jackson’. I am trying to find out who the artist was. The painting looks similar to one shown on this web site by Judith Jackson. On the back of the frame is a stamp G S (Charlie) Rice and has an address (no city or state) and telephone number (no area code). I don’t know if this was a gallery that might have handled the sale of the painting.
